Two B.N.T.G.-affiliated treasure hunters during a scavenging operation located the so-called “Exit Door” in Level 21.
This door is distinct and immediately recognizable by a large neon-red sign above it bearing the word “EXIT” in flickering block letters, standing out starkly against the muted decay of the corridor it resides in.
What Lies Beyond the Exit Door
Upon entry, the door does not lead out of Level 21, despite the name. Instead, it opens into a set of three branching hallways, each long, dusty, and dark. These corridors differ significantly from the rest of the level in several critical ways:
- They do not shift. Unlike the unstable architecture of Level 21’s standard hallways, these new corridors remain fixed, with no apparent dimensional distortion or shift observed.
- They are saturated with valuable resources. Almond Water, Firesalt, preserved rations, medical kits, and even functional Level Keys have been discovered scattered across the floor or tucked into recesses in the walls. These items appear with irregular frequency.
- They are deathly quiet. No entities have been observed here so far. Many explorers report the sensation of being watched or hearing faint whispering echoing down the halls, especially when alone.
⚠️ IMPORTANT CAUTION: The Looping Door System
Beyond the main three corridors lie additional doors: each identical in design to the one first entered. These doors do not contain any further resources. Instead, they connect only to one another in a seemingly endless loop, leading from one hallway door to another and back again. Initial mapping attempts show no linear pattern, and tests to exit through these "mirror doors" have proven futile.
🛑 DO NOT ENTER ALONE — MANDATORY REPORTING REQUIRED
Despite the potential for high-value finds, all individuals who locate or interact with the Exit Door are required to go to the nearest B.N.T.G. outpost. In particular, the individuals must report directly to the group's Collecting Director Callum Andrews, or to any person directly under his management.
